Virgin Atlantic to relaunch Cape Town service

Virgin Atlantic (VS/VIR) is bringing back its London Heathrow (LHR/EGLL) to Cape Town (CPT/FACT service from 25th October 2020.

The route was last served by the airline in 2015 and Juha Jarvinen, chief commercial officer at Virgin Atlantic commented: “We’re delighted to be flying to Cape Town again – we’re expecting a high proportion of leisure travellers on this route taking advantage of the winter sun, the safaris and of course, the world-famous wine region.”

Initially launching as a 4-timers per week service the route will move to daily from the 23rd November 2020.

It will be operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
