Loganair celebrates the launch of its Jersey to Paris service

Loganair (LM/LOG) has celebrated the launch of its Jersey to Paris route, further enhancing connectivity to Europe from the Channel Islands.

The first departure left Jerset yesterday, the 31st of May, and flights will now operate on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday each week until the 22nd October.

Ronnie Matheson, chief commercial officer at Loganair, said: “This is the first time in Loganair’s long history that the airline has flown to France so it is a very proud day for all the team.

“Our continued investment and growth across the Channel Islands is significant, and Paris-Charles de Gaulle is the third of four new summer destinations that have launched from Jersey over the last few weeks, further strengthening connectivity for the Channel Islands.”

The Paris route is one of two new routes to France being launched by Loganair this summer, with flights to Bordeaux set to commence later this month on the 19th of June.

Paul Holley, head of connectivity at Ports of Jersey, said: “With Paris now commenced and as we look forward to Bordeaux starting shortly, we’re excited to see Loganair adding two new French routes for this summer. These direct services provide excellent connectivity for Islanders while representing an opportunity for Jersey to reach new markets, further supporting our visitor economy.”

Customers flying with Loganair benefit from a 21kg baggage allowance included as standard, providing added value for longer stays and multi-stop trips, alongside convenient connections across the airline’s extensive regional network.
