Jet2 to add Budapest from Birmingham from W19

Holiday airline Jet2 (LS/EXS) has announced it is adding a new service to Budapest (BUD/LHBP) from Birmingham (BHX/EGBB) from November 2019.

The twice-weekly route will be served by one of the airlines Boeing 737-800 aircraft and will operate on a Monday and Friday starting on the 8th November 2019.

Budapest is Hungary’s capital and offers visitors a wealth of history and architecture across the city which is dissected by the Danube.

You can take the funicular railway up Castle hill or explore the historic old town where the museum of history will help guide you through Budapest from Roman times to modern times.

The holiday destination of Lake Balaton is also nearby with its beaches and volcanic hills making up its 197km shoreline.
