The Farnborough International Airshow has revealed another impressive addition to its 2026 flying and static display programme, with both the Italian Air Force and the United States Air Force confirming a range of military aircraft set to appear at the world’s leading aerospace event.

Taking place from the 20th to 24th of July 2026, Farnborough International Airshow will once again bring together the global aerospace, defence and space industries, with military aircraft displays expected to be among the highlights of the week.

The Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare) will showcase its Eurofighter Typhoon, known in Italian service as the F-2000A, with the Reparto Sperimentale di Volo Eurofighter display team performing across all five days of the event.

Joining the flying display will be two aircraft on static exhibition. The C-27J Spartan tactical transport aircraft, designed for operations in demanding environments, will give visitors an opportunity to explore one of Europe’s most capable medium transport platforms. Alongside it, the T-346A Master advanced jet trainer will demonstrate the aircraft used to prepare pilots for modern frontline fighter operations.

The United States Air Force has also expanded its presence at the show, complementing the previously announced F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team with a strong static aircraft line-up.

Visitors will be able to view the UH-60M Black Hawk utility helicopter, the C-130J Hercules tactical transport aircraft, the CH-47F Chinook heavy-lift helicopter and an F-35A Lightning II on static display throughout the event.

The latest aircraft announcements reinforce Farnborough’s status as one of the world’s premier stages for military and civil aerospace, providing manufacturers, operators, governments and defence organisations with the opportunity to showcase current capabilities alongside emerging technologies.

Beyond the aircraft displays, the airshow will feature major product launches, business announcements, technology demonstrations and high-level industry discussions covering the future of aviation, defence and space.

The final day of the event, Friday the 24th of July, will once again host the Pioneers of Tomorrow programme, opening the airshow to students and young people interested in careers across the aerospace sector. The initiative is designed to inspire the next generation of engineers, pilots, technicians and innovators through interactive exhibits and career-focused activities.

Farnborough International has confirmed that further aircraft announcements will be made in the coming months as preparations continue for the 2026 show, with additional flying displays and static exhibits expected to be unveiled ahead of the event.
