Rescue services also attended the accident in Monmouthshire
The Air Accident Investigations Branch (AAIB) has confirmed it is sending a team of investigators to the scene of an aircraft accident in South Wales.
The accident happened around 11am this morning and South Wales Fire & Rescue confirmed it had attended the scene.
Gwent Police, who are also at the scene, confirmed it was attending the scene of an “accident involving a light aircraft” but would not confirm whether there had been any casualties.

The accident is understood to be near Tregare near Raglan in Monmouthsire.
