Huge fire closes Luton Airport

A huge fire has closed London Luton Airport (LTN/EGGW) overnight with flights suspended until at least 3pm

The fire broke out in one of the airports multi-storey car parks causing a partial collapse of the structure.

Witnesses described an “infermo” in the car park with up to 200 vehicles being detroyed and multiple people have been treated for smoke inhalation.

No one is believed to have been seriously injured in the incident.
