Leading UK regional airline Loganair (LM/LOG) will launch direct from flights tomorrow Jersey Airport (JER/EGJJ) to Bordeaux, France for Summer 2026.

The brand new twice-weekly service will operate on Mondays and Fridays from the 19th of June through to the 5th of October and is part of Loganair’s commitment to strengthening connections from the Channel Islands.

Ronnie Matheson, Chief Commercial Officer at Loganair said: “Bordeaux is a fantastic addition to our Jersey schedule for summer 2026, offering customers a direct gateway to one of France’s most popular regions. Whether travelling for a long weekend or an extended break, this new route provides a convenient and enjoyable way to explore everything the area has to offer.

“We remain committed to enhancing connectivity for Jersey, and this latest addition, alongside our wider network of seasonal services, ensures customers have even greater choice when planning their summer travel.”

Matt Thomas, Chief Executive Officer at Ports of Jersey added: “The introduction of direct flights to Bordeaux marks an exciting step forward for Jersey’s European connectivity. Alongside our popular Paris service, this twice‑weekly route provides Islanders with greater flexibility for travel to the south of France, while also opening Jersey to a wider catchment of more than one million people living in the Bordeaux and Nouvelle‑Aquitaine region.

“This represents a valuable opportunity for both inbound tourism and outbound travel. We’re pleased to continue working closely with Loganair as they further build their presence and long‑term investment in Jersey.”

This latest addition follows a raft of new routes from Jersey with Loganair which include Norwich, which starts on the 9th of May, East Midlands, which starts on the 9th May and Paris CDG, which commences on the 31st of May.
