British Airways extends China Suspension

British Airways

British Airways (BA/BAW) has extended its suspension of flights to Mainland China until at least 31st March 2020 in response to the ongoing threat from the Novel Coronavirus.

The airline suspended its daily flights to Beijing and Shanghai on the 29th January, shortly after the outbreak began but initially suggested the suspension would be for a couple of weeks.

British Airways hopes to resume flying to China on the 1st April 2010.

Virgin Atlantic also recently extended its suspension of flights to Shanghai until the 28th March 2020.
