UK charter airline Titan Airways (ZT/AWC) has completed the purchase of its first Embraer E190LR regional jet registered as G-POWX.
Titan has a core fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft but the addition of the E190LR gives it more flexibility for smaller charters in its 13 strong fleet.
The aircraft is configured in a two-class layout with nine business class seat and 88 economy class seats although Titan plans to utilise a variable cabin arrangement including an all economy 100 seat cabin.

This modern aircraft will allow us to offer our clients a more fuel-efficient option when serving the 70-seat + charter market. It has a spacious cabin and nicely fills the gap for smaller capacity charter and lease requests in the UK and Europe.”

The Embraer E190LR (Long Range) is a regional jet designed and manufactured by Brazilian aerospace company Embraer. It is part of the E-Jet family and is tailored for medium-capacity routes, typically seating around 98 to 114 passengers in a two-class configuration. The “LR” variant offers extended range compared to the standard E190, with a maximum range of approximately 4,537 km (2,450 nautical miles), making it ideal for longer regional and short-haul international routes. It is powered by two General Electric CF34-10E engines and is known for its efficiency, comfort, and flexibility for airlines operating in challenging network environments.
G-POWX was delivered to Air Astana in 2012 as P4-KCG where it served until 2021 before spending some time on lease to Myanmar Airlines as XY-ALU. It briefly returned to to P4-KCG where it operated for TrueNoord before being temporarily stored in 2024. The aircraft was flown to Stansted in June 2025 ahead of its entry into the Titan fleet.
