Norse Atlantic to launch London to Cape Town flights

Long-haul low-cost airline Norse Atlantic Airways UK (20/UBT) has confirmed October is the planned start date for it’s new London Gatwick (LGW/EGKK) to Cape Town service.

The three times per week flight will be operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner and has fares started at under £500.

Although the route is still subject to regulatory approval, Norse is confident it can begin flights on October 28th and has opened bookings.

Norse will operate the flight on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays with the return flights getting back to Gatwick on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Flight times are expected to be 11 hours and 30 mins.
