Cornwall Airport Newquay (NQY/EGHQ) is continuing its growth with a summer season that saw 160,000 passengers pass through its terminal in June, July and August.

The airport has been bolstered by Ryanair flights and their route to Alicante grew by 205% thanks to extra flights this year. Routes to London have also been popular with Eastern Airways flying daily to Gatwick and Ryanair flying to Stansted.

The airport has also welcomed flights to Zurich with Edlewiess and Copenhagen with SAS giving those in the South West more destinations to choose from.

Aurigny Airlines also started its new route to Guernsey operating three-times-per-week.

Flights to Dublin have also proved popular with Aer Lingus operating until October when Ryanair starts its year-round service to the Irish capital as well as Alicante and Malaga.
