Boeing has unveiled a video previewing the cabin of the Boeing 777X showing its spacious, modern layout and cabin architecture options.

When it enters service, the Boeing 777X will be the latest twin-engined airliner in service and airlines will be demanding a cabin that is both comfortable, customisable and of course, economic.

The rendering by Boeing shows that airlines will have a choice of two cabin architectures when it comes to overhead luggage bins and roof space usage and whilst the exact details of the differences aren’t available it will give airlines options over luggage space and aspects such as lighting.

Another feature is larger windows and the redesigned sidewalls which allow Boeing to make the cabin interior 4″ wider without widening the fuselage itself.

First deliveries of the Boeing 777X are expected in the later part of 2026 but recent issues with certification mean this could slip further into 2027.

In a recent statement, Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg said: “We are getting to a point in the certification programme where we need to be burning down the certification of – think of it as for score completion of the task—and we are falling behind on the certification,”

Demand for the world’s largest twin-engined widebody remains strong though with orders continuing to be placed with the Seattle-based OEM.
