Airbus delivered 793 commercial aircraft to 91 customers worldwide in 2025, underlining continued resilience and strong demand across the global aviation market despite a complex operating environment.
The European aerospace manufacturer also secured 1,000 new gross orders during the year in its Commercial Aircraft business, pushing its total order backlog to a new year-end record of 8,754 aircraft. Airbus said the figures highlight sustained market confidence in its product portfolio, with the company achieving a healthy book-to-bill ratio of above one for the year.
Deliveries in 2025 followed an upward trajectory, with several landmark handovers and the entry into service of aircraft types with new operators across all regions. During the year, Airbus welcomed new customers for the A220, A321XLR, A330neo and A350-1000 programmes.
The manufacturer also recorded repeat business and attracted key new customers in both single-aisle and widebody campaigns. Reflecting this momentum, the widebody backlog rose to a record 1,124 aircraft by the end of December.
Airbus said the results demonstrate the continued strength of demand for modern, fuel-efficient aircraft as airlines invest in fleet renewal and capacity growth, even as the industry navigates supply chain pressures and operational challenges.
