Figures released by European OEM Airbus show that it delivered 78 airliners last month to 36 customers around the world.
As usual, single-aisle airliners made up the bulk of the deliveries with 37 A321neos, 25 A320neos, two A319neos being delivered along with four A220-300s. Customers included Wizz Air, British Airways and Delta Airlines.
As for Widebodies, Airbus delivered three A330-900neos, five A350-900s and two A350-1000s with customers including Hainan Airlines, Emirates and Qatar Airways.
Gross orders for the month totalled 112 aircraft with VietJet’s 100 aircraft order accounting for most of it. The only other disclosed customer was MNG Airlines Cargo with four other orders undisclosed and one private customer.
