Airbus delivers 73 airliners in September and gains 10 orders

European OEM Airbus delivered 73 airliners to 41 customers worldwide in September, marking one of its busiest months this year.

As usual, single-aisle airliners led the table with 67 deliveries. Nine Airbus A220 aircraft to airlines, including JetBlue and Delta Airlines.

40 Airbus A321neo airliners left the factory for customers such as Jet2, Air China, Indigo, and Korean Air, and 18 A320neos went to customers including British Airways, TAP Air Portugal and leasing specialist Avolon.

A sole A319neo was also delivered to Air China.

On the widebody side, four A330-900s were delivered to airlines, including Delta Airlines, Air Côte d’Ivoire and Malaysia Airlines.

Gross orders for September totalled 10, two A350-900s for a customer marked “private” and eight A350-900s for an undisclosed customer.
