Airbus has slightly increased the tempo of deliveries in March 2021 with 72 aircraft being delivered to 34 customers in the month.
The month accounts for almost 60% of the deliveries so far in 2021.
Deliveries in March include 4 Airbus A220, 50 A320 family aircraft (57 of which were Neo’s), 8 Airbus A350 aircraft and on the very last day of the month, an Airbus A330-900neo to Corsair.
The European airframes also obtained 28 orders in March.
The increase in deliveries comes as hopes of global air travel in 2021 tentatively begin to increase as the Coronavirus vaccine programmes across the world progress.
